Replies usually within 2–3 days
The fastest way to reach me is email. There is no form here on purpose — a form would need a third-party service processing your message, and email is simpler for both of us.
What gets a reply fastest
- A symbol I have got wrong. Tell me which one and what it should say. Corrections go to the front of the queue and get made the same week where I can.
- A symbol that is not on the site. Older garments and non-European labels throw up things the current standard has dropped. A photo of the label helps enormously.
- A label you cannot decipher. Send a photo. If it turns out to be a common one, it will probably end up on the site — anonymously, and never with the photo itself published unless you say it is fine.
What I cannot help with
I cannot tell you whether a specific stain will come out, assess damage that has already happened, or advise on a warranty claim or a dispute with a retailer or cleaner. Those need someone looking at the actual garment.
Advertising and commercial enquiries
Advertising on this site is handled entirely through a third-party ad network, so there is no inventory to sell directly. I do not publish sponsored posts, paid links or guest articles, and messages offering them will not get a reply.
Privacy
Emails sent to the address above go to a personal mailbox. Your message and address are used to answer you and nothing else — never added to a mailing list, never passed on. Messages get deleted once the exchange is finished, and no later than 12 months. Full detail is in the privacy policy.

Under GDPR you have to be able to identify who is behind the site. A name, a country and a working email is the minimum. If you register a business later, this is where the registration number goes.
